Assets Appraisals

Cultural Asset Management Group is able to provide appraisals for single items or entire collections. We appraise Fine Art, including Canadian, International, Inuit and First Nations; Antiques; and Decorative Art including Furniture, Ceramics, Silver, Glass, Carpets and Rugs and Textiles.

For areas outside our specialty, we collaborate with a team of International Art Specialists and are able to appraise works in virtually any collecting area.

Written formal appraisals are available for a number of different purposes including:

  • Replacement Value for Insurance purposes
  • Fair Market Value for sale
  • Charitable Donation, including Certified Cultural Property
  • Estates / Property Division
  • Institutional and private deaccessioning

We are happy to discuss your needs over the phone or by email for an initial consultation. We may be able to appraise your works using clear, colour photographs, although firsthand inspection is always the rule of thumb for specialized pieces or large collections. Cultural Asset Management Group will provide specialists to view your works in any location worldwide, provided travel expenses are covered.
